Texlab Liège
Tests and prototypes woven on a TC2 Jacquard loom at Texlab Liège
1:1 workshop use guided by Marie Beguin
funded by Wallonie Design.
In the first half of 2025 I was lucky to be accepted for an “accompagnement” at Texlab Liège, a workshop with facilities for weaving, felting, knitting, embroidery, tufting and pattern creation. It is accessible on application for designers to test and prototype new experiments and products, with two and a half days’ one-to-one guided workshop use publicly funded via Wallonie Design.
I applied with the view to try my stamp designs in a textile context. Having already experimented with block printing textiles, I was also curious to see how weaving the designs could change their visual impact and tactility, and inspire new applications such as home furnishings or clothing as well as large-scale tapestries.
Thank you very much to weaving expert Marie Beguin for her great advice, help and suggestions, and thanks to everyone at Texlab for welcoming me. I’m very eager to continue exploring this field, giving my characters and figures a new dimension.
Kammermusikfestival Regensburg
I illustrated the label of the festival beer for the Kammermusikfestival Regensburg 2024.
“Kammersud” beer brewed by Trift Braugenossenschaft.
Illustration created with hand-carved stamps. The musicians play on the bridge that is an integral part of the brewer’s logo.
This is the Kit

in 2021 I was invited to design a poster for This is the Kit. It was riso printed by duplikat press, and was sold throughout their UK spring tour. It’s available on TITK’s website.
